The third episode of Game of Thrones Season 3 is the most memorable so far

The third episode of Game of Thrones Season 3 is the most memorable so far, and not just because of the shocking end of the above-average number of rape attempts. The huge sprawling plot creaks sometimes under his weight, but it is quite improvised with some characters, and that's pure enjoyment.

Robb Stark arrived at Riverrun to attend the funeral of grandfather Hoster Tully. There is not displayed much of the castle, but this is the first time the residence of the Tully's is shown. As expected, there are new characters. Catelyns younger brother Edmure (Tobias Menzies) is now the new lord and his arrogance is not on the same level as his experience. Brynden 'The Back Fish' Tully (Clive Russell), Catelyns uncle, is therefore compared the opposite. He is like the nickname suggests, the black sheep of the family, although the reason remains unknown. George R. R. Martins universe dictates that all the big houses have a few powerhouses; The Blackfish is for the Tully's. It is interesting that the series this character are sending, because he was introduced much earlier in the book.
On the northern side of the wall there is again movement. The Jon trust is put to the test when Mance Rayder enclose him with a small group of soldiers to climb the wall. In this way they hope to surprise Castle Black, and open the gate. Sam and the other survivors of the Night's Watch have meanwhile reached Craster's Keep. Downside is that the episode does little reintroduction of this mini-universe. Kraster is a thug holding a harem inbreeding to daughters and granddaughters. Get one of them a boy, he let them in the wilderness for the white walkers. Sam had in season two purposes Gilly, who was heavily pregnant and is now giving birth. Guess what his legs dangling between the baby?

Daenerys Targaryen also returns after a week's absence. The unsullied be a horrible way to win a war ... but it's the best opportunity they have at the time. To dash her advisors she has a dragon on the slave driver in exchange for all the soldiers he 'stock' has. The settlement of this move, we see only in a later episode back.

The strongest moments of this season prove again the moments when the film crew tries to do something else with a scene. How exciting the meetings, it remains just as often fascinating look feed to see talk of the Hand of the King with his Small Council. Tywin Lannister is present in only one scene and steal him again. Tyrion could only watch as the other members laughing anxious to sit down at the table without saying a word. At the same time the position of the seats immediately see how the proportions look at the time on the court.

But it does not stop there for the Imp. He bombarded Master of Coin and should go find money for the most expensive wedding in the history of King's Landing. Getting the royal ledgers at Littlefinger and the scene that follows, are downright hilarious. The same applies to the end of the episode. Anyone who has read the book knows what will happen. Since the dragon is inserted with it, so it seems. The statement just before the closing credits is the more memorable by.

There are also weaker scenes that seem only stopped to fans of certain characters not to offend. Arya and companions have one scene, but it could as well be placed in the next episode. Even Stannis and Melisandre tease the viewer especially next week to zap to HBO again. It stings a bit sharply against Theon Greyjoy, who do not even sit in this book and yet experiencing one of the most exciting stories. More like it!
