There are people (comic colleague Thijs) which packs a whopping thirty films during Imagineering, but we make it a bit easier. Most visitors walk there after a few days at Imagine quite like zombies, but there was only one that really knows what it's like to walk like a zombie. Nicholas Hoult was present at the festival and in his new film, he runs all the scenes half curved like a zombie.
And he made himself even more difficult by during a meeting with his director Jonathan Levine (50/50) think aloud "actually blink zombies do not?", Causing his eyes have missed a lot of soothing blink slowly while shooting the film so verklapte the actor during a Q & a after the screening of the picture.
What movie are you okay? On day 5 of Imagine we beheld the modern fairy Warm Bodies which Nicholas Hoult leading role. Modern can be called the film because it revolves around a zombie and that is thanks to series like The Walking Dead and games like Day Z the trend of the moment. A fairy tale, because we are witnessing a love story like that of Romeo & Juliet and Beauty and the Beast.
Even for a Romeo & Juliet-purist like myself, Warm Bodies was very nice to look at. He is not called a zomrom-com for nothing, because where it all a bit rawer and more dramatic to go far in the Shakespearean romance, Warm Bodies follows just really ROM comritme. It starts with jokes, then goes to bungling of the meeting of the object of affection, then you see the budding romance, drama, and it is questionable whether it will be fine at the end.
Warm Bodies is all of course more interesting than the average rom-com, because at the same time to make the world a zombie infestation and is fighting for survival. Especially because there are beings who are zombie-off, but evolve into 'Bonies': meaner and faster versions of their former shape.
R zombie followed, no Boney yet. He tells you his thoughts as you see how life looks like at the airport. It's a shock when he explains that he has a kind of zombie-friend with whom he occasionally shares more than just growl, because occasionally they can say words. It is therefore important that you as a viewer Walking Dead idea of zombies (walkers) just put out of your head and Corpses (zombies in Warm Bodies) a chance.
Fails you and you against cute love movies, then you will enjoy your very well. Once R. human, living young wife Julie bump stumbles, his jokes are a little less and is replaced by more touching moments. Yet you from start to finish are treated regularly or other dry comment, so do not be afraid that these zombie completely in a kind of Ghost of PS I Love You is changing.
Hoult is in Warm Bodies in love with the blonde Kristen Stewart, known as Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four), and friends with the funny corps Rob Corddry (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World), which you get some zombie here can see -acteertips. Then there is the strict and not very fair about upcoming John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich), not only in terms of humor, romance and action is Warm Bodies Summit, also cast makes this a few good, fresh and original zombie.

Day 7: Imagine no horror, would not Imagine. Imagine without a comedic horror films, is one Imagine no ... umm, humor. So there Grabbers, a gimmicky monster movie in the spirit of Critters and Tremors, to meet to laughter in need (besides films like Robo G, John Dies at the End, Earthbound and Ghost Graduation). But there's a fine line between perfection of Evil Dead and the ultimate failure of films like Troll 2. Which side of the spectrum is Grabbers?
The best comic horror movies take the horror genre to heel without this parody stands in the way of tension and even credibility. An almost impossible task and while video capture is a good start, succeeds director Jon Wright not quite here.
The setting (a rather grim but beautiful island off the coast of Ireland) has passed, the samples (blood-sucking octopus-aliens) are nice thought, as well as the design (the samples are not on a bender the islanders so turn to alcohol). At the time the cast, however, is drunk, the battle begins and Grabbers supposed to be loose with funny action, seem to have become the creators misted. The humor reaches a low point, tension is certainly no more and the film loses the plot.
Grabbers' rescue, the two protagonists and their undeniable chemistry. The lonely, alcoholic, depressive Garda (Irish police) Ciarán O'Shea (Richard Coyle) has tons of charisma, though that was first hidden under his surliness and social ignorance. Excited workaholic Lisa Nolan (Ruth Bradley) forms a nice contrast with him, and she completely steals the show as she gets completely drunk in a very touching way. We will both definitely see them back in - perhaps - bigger productions!

Grabbers thus falls slightly on the wrong side of the horror / comedy spectrum, thanks to well-known shortcomings such as inconsistency in tone and an overdose of self-knowledge. Which to Gremlins II referring bar scene where baby Grabbers' doing funny "was a step too far, folks! Fortunately, it is fun to watch drunken Irishmen, but unfortunately do not necessarily alien octopus vampires to be added ...
